We’re about to learn how to do a reverse image search on Tinder. It’s easier than you might think, and it’s helpful and, well, handy if you will.

A reverse image search for Tinder images isn't performed directly on Tinder. Instead, you can use services like Google Image, Swindlerbuster, pimeyes.com, reverseimagesearch.org, tineye.com, socialcatfish.com, and other platforms that offer image search capabilities.
It’s not as complicated, nor as scary as it sounds. They’re done in simple steps which I’ll show you below.
1. Reverse image search through Google Image
We will explain steps on how to do a reverse image search for a screenshot you made.
A reverse Tinder image search through Google image is done in 4 easy steps:
- Step 1: Screenshot the picture of the person;
- Step 2: Crop the image so that the background of the app doesn’t show;
- Step 3: Email it to yourself, or find other ways to make it available on your desktop;
- Step 4: Drag and drop on Google Images.
If someone's Tinder profile has photos from their Facebook, Google, or Instagram, and those photos were once public, you can find them.
Even if they don't link their social media, but still use the same photos, you can still find them through Google. If they're using fake photos of a model, those can also be found online. This applies to other dating sites as well.
2. Use SwindlerBuster Dating Image Search

- Step 2: Crop it so it’s decent, and the app’s background doesn’t show on the picture;

That’s it. That’s all you’ve got to do. No need to find ways to search the image on your desktop or any other complications. You do it through your phone.

4. Searching a Tinder image through reverseimagesearch.org
It’s almost the same as the pimeyes, but there’s something else slightly different that you have to do…
So basically, after repeating the first two steps which are screenshotting the picture and cropping it:
Step 2: Go to reverseimagesearch.org and upload the image;
Step 3: Now you’ve got to choose where you want to search that image. You can see the searches found on Google, Bing, Yandex, and Baidu. You’ve got them all in one place, just click whichever one of them you want to check out.
5. Reverse Image Search a Tinder image through tineye.com
It’s the same procedure: screenshot, crop, go to tineye.com, upload the picture, and find the results.
6. Socialcatfish.com Search Image Bar
You can also use socialcatfish.com, they too have the option to search images. If nothing else works, you can give it a try. Why not?

Besides searching for their image on Google, or the sites I’ve shown you above, there’s something else you can do.
They’ve got a name on Tinder, cool. It would be cooler if they got a job title on their profile, or even better, the name of their workplace. Why? – you wonder.
Well, that’ll be handy…
- Step 1: Go to google.com;
- Step 2: Write their name, job title, and name of the workplace on the search bar;
- Step 3: Start digging.
Now, if you don’t have the name of their workplace, you can just search for their name and their job title. See what you can find.
If you know exactly what their name is, and if somehow on Earth you get to find their last name, AND the job title, LinkedIn is the answer.
Why on Earth would this be a good idea?
They could be anyone on Earth! A murderer, a scientist, a CATFISH, lord knows what else.
It’s a way to do online dating safely. They could text you anything, any lie, any truth they wish to. You can take their word for granted, or make competition with a detective and find out their online dating profile, hell, become one yourself!
